Everyone has a “niche” when it comes to wildlife conservation. As noted throughout the book, private landowners in Texas play a key role in conserving wildlife habitat in the state, managing millions of acres that benefit game and nongame species. But there are many opportunities for all Texans to both experience wildlife and give back.
